Community involvement and giving back is something that is important to Fyndr Group and once we have made a placement with you, we would be happy to support you in any causes that are meaningful to you, or we can provide a vehicle for you to partner with causes that we support; Pass it On Clothing, Achilles, Make A Wish Australia, Kindsum and the Australian Children’s Music Foundation.
Pass It On Clothing
Fyndr Group have a clothing bin installed in the office where any unwanted items of clothing are deposited and picked up every quarter to be passed on to the homeless and disadvantaged in Sydney CBD, Parramatta and Gosford. This is something that the Directors are actively hands on involved with and volunteer time to help distribute pieces of clothing at services. www.facebook.com/passitonclothing/
Achilles Running Group
Achilles is a running group that provides guides for vision impaired runners across Australia and APAC. Fyndr Group Directors are involved in running as guides for training sessions and running events such as the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival and the Sydney Morning Herald Half Marathon. www.achillesaustralia.org.au
Make A Wish Australia
Make A Wish (MAW) Australia grant wishes for sick and underprivileged children across Australia. Fyndr Group Directors have fundraised for MAW through competing in sporting events like the Gold Coast Marathon and summiting Aconcagua, the highest mountain in South America. www.makeawish.org.au
Kindsum
Kindsum is a platform for people to share any kind they need to help with life circumstances or offer to give some kind and do something meaningful for somebody else. Fyndr Group Directors have been involved with three Kindsum projects in Australia, including helping a man in Melbourne become the first breathing assisted quadriplegic person globally to finish a marathon, hanging a mirror for somebody in need with a broken back and donating a washing machine to somebody in need. www.kindsum.com
Australian Children’s Music Foundation
The ACMF has provided over 250,000 free music lessons and provided over $1 million in free instruments for underprivileged, at risk and indigenous children across Australia. Fyndr Group Directors are pursuing active involvement. www.acmf.com.au
